Studio
Alike is a brand, website and experience design studio in Portland, Oregon, founded in 2026 by Graham Slick. We design what guests see online and what they experience in person, for hospitality and wellness businesses.
How we work
Graham leads every project, from the first conversation to launch. When a project needs a specialist skill, we bring in independent collaborators, so each team is sized to the work.
Projects have a fixed scope, a published starting price and a schedule agreed up front. Every launch includes 30 days of fixes, and ongoing care is available after that.
Graham Slick
Founder
Graham spent thirteen years as a creative director, UX designer and product designer at agencies in New York and Portland, working for Columbia, Purdue, McGraw Hill Financial, Unilever brands, GE and Puma. In Portland he led product design for a solar company's software suite and designed advisor tools for a major financial services company.
In 2019 he began leading sound ceremonies as Aloka, which became Aloka Sound Bath House in 2025. Willamette Week's Best of Portland Readers' Poll named him the 2025 winner and a 2026 finalist for Best Sound Bath Experience, and Soho House, TEDxPortland and Lululemon have brought in Aloka to lead sessions for their people.
That second career shapes how Alike works. The studio sees a business from the website in and from the floor up: how guests arrive, what they notice and what brings them back.

Studied graphic design and photography at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The name
Alike is Aloka with two letters changed: an i for the o, and an e for the a. It also names an idea the studio is built on: we're all alike.
