The room is the product
A Sound Lab is ninety minutes of sound, breath and movement, on the floor in low light. Everything a guest notices is designed: how the mats are laid, where the bowls sit, when the lights drop, what the first sentence sounds like.
Aloka has run weekly at Bodha Yoga since November 2024, and travels to Wild Reed Yoga, the park on Mt. Tabor, workplaces and my own studio, the Attic.
Rooms for brands that host
Organizations bring Aloka in for their people: Soho House, TEDxPortland, Lululemon, and Killian Pacific, which sponsored a four-month Aloka residency in Portland's Central Eastside. Each session is designed for the room it happens in, from a small leadership group to a public event.
The website
aloka.org carries the weekly schedule, private bookings, gift cards, a shop and the newsletter. In October 2026 I moved it off Squarespace onto a site I designed and built, with a back office I can run from my phone between sessions.
Where it started
Aloka began in 2019 as an app: a wellness program where you leveled up through breathwork, yoga and meditation, each level in its own chakra color, on a base of white marble and copper. I wrote the program, designed the brand and the screens, and tested a prototype with users. The practice it pointed to became the business.
What guests say
I went into Graham Slick's sound bath feeling a little skeptical, but I left feeling like a whole new person.
I left feeling rejuvenated, centered, and incredibly peaceful.

Tell me what you run, where it is, and what isn't working yet. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so.
