The problem

For a weekly game of H.O.R.S.E. with friends, the hard part isn't the shot. It's finding a time that works around everyone's kids. Bricks includes a planner for that: each player marks the times they could play over the next two weeks, and the overlap shows up in pink.

Home: 'Get the game started now', one tap to go live
Plan: 'When, though.' with a four-letter code to send to the group text
Games: 'Get a game going.' Nobody referees, and the phone can live in a bag
Crew: 'Your crew. Familiar faces. Zero tryouts.' with a way to add players who have no phone

How it works

Players start a game on the spot or plan one for later. Everyone joins from their own phone with a four-letter code and records their own misses. When a player is out, every phone plays the same sad trombone, and the winner gets a fanfare. Afterward, a recap is ready to paste into the group text, with one tap to play again.

What it leaves out

No rankings, no leaderboards, no shot charts and no referee. Players keep their own score, a friend without a phone can be added by someone else, and each player's record stays on their own phone. Nobody needs an account or an app download to play.
